I am a Production Technician based in Kalamazoo and a 2025 graduate of Western Michigan University (BA in Film, Video, and Media Studies).Through my work at Public Media Network, I’ve focused on the hands-on side of production. I am at my best when I am on-site, setting up equipment and ensuring the technical side of an event or shoot is handled correctly from the start.
Live Setup: I am experienced in the physical setup and teardown of production equipment.
Audio & Video: I am proficient in setting up broadcast cameras and audio recording systems.
Real-Time Troubleshooting: I enjoy the challenge of live production and stay calm when technical issues arise.
I am a dependable, detail-oriented technician who is always ready to learn new systems and adapt to the fast-paced needs of live environments.

In this collection, I present a detailed analysis of films spanning a range of established genres. My focus is on exploring the unique storytelling techniques, cinematography, and sound design that define each film. By examining the conventions and emotional resonance characteristic of each genre, I uncover how these works reflect the cultural contexts and societal values of their respective eras. This analysis highlights the diverse narrative strategies filmmakers employ to engage audiences and convey meaning.
